The ACO (Automobile Club de l’Ouest) has released a list of the 17 teams that have been guaranteed an entry for next year’s Le Mans 24 Hours. Their ranks include Pescarolo Team, AF Corse, BMW RLL and Dyson Racing who earned their ticket thanks to their results in this year’s MICHELIN GREEN X Challenge.
Martin Brundle and his son Alex will drive a Greaves Motorsport-entered Zytek-Nissan at next year’s Le Mans 24 Hours.
Allan McNish and Tom Kristensen haven’t had the most successful of seasons in the N°2 Audi R18 TDi, and their final race of the year at Zhuhai ended unceremoniously in the pits. The Dane and Scot look back at their 2011 campaign and ahead to the new WEC.

The 2011 Intercontinental Le Mans Cup comes to a close with the third victory this year for the Bourdais/Davidson driver pairing. We hope to “see” you all again in 125 days for the opening round of the new World Endurance Championship. In the meantime, here are some comments from the podium finishing drivers.
Having already won the 2011 LMP1 title in the 2011 Intercontinental Le Mans Challenge, Team Peugeot-Total along with key partner MICHELIN have just scored a 1 – 2 victory here in Zhuhai, China
Anthony Davidson and Stéphane Sarrazin have just taken first and second positions in Zhuhai after three hours of racing, having just passed the No 1 Audi R18 TDI. BMW M3s dominate in the LM GTE Pro class.
Timo Bernhard (No°1 Audi) leads after the first hour of racing at Zhuhai, with both Peugeot drivers in hot pursuit.
The 2011 motorsports season has been a great one for MICHELIN in Asia. Highlights include winning season titles in Japanese Super GT and in the Asia Pacific Rallye Championship with Proton. Here at Zhuhai, MICHELIN is looking to add a seventh victory in ILMC in 2011, a fitting end to an LMP1 title-winning season with Peugeot.
