Stéphane Sarrazin, Franck Montagny and Alex Wurz handed Peugeot/MICHELIN a clear win at Road Atlanta to put the seal on the 2011 ILMC title. The team’s N°8 908 completed the 1,000-mile Petit Le Mans ahead of the former-generation 908 HDi FAP/MICHELIN of Minassian/Gené/Lapierre. The two French cars were joined on the all-MICHELIN podium by the N°007 Aston Martin.
We’re halfway into the 2011 Petit Le Mans and the race is currently led by the N°8 Peugeot/MICHELIN (Sarrazin/Wurz/Montagny). The thrilling scrap for number one spot ended prematurely when the N°1 Audi was handed a stop&go penalty about 40 minutes ago.
