The two-time F1 world champion Mika Häkkinen will contest the final round of the 2011 Intercontinental Le Mans Cup in a Mercedes SLS AMG. A field of 29 cars is expected for the Chinese race at Zhuhai.
The Peugeot 908 HYbrid4 made its test debut at Estoril, Portugal, last week. The outing marked the start of a major test programme for the car, the powertrain of which has also been run on the test-bench at the team’s base in Vélizy, near Paris.
