Anthony Davidson (1st, N°7 Peugeot): “That was a fantastic race to win. It was so hard. And I can’t believe we completed the six hours without a single safety car interruption. So congratulations to all the drivers for doing such a safe job. We never expected to win by such a big margin, but it felt good sharing a car with Sébastien [Bourdais] for the first time. I will just need to make sure my seat is properly adjusted next time, because this circuit is physically very tough and there were moments when it was quite painful.”

Sébastien Bourdais (1^st, N°7 Peugeot): “That was a great race for Peugeot. We didn’t expect to come away with a one-two finish, and we thought we would have a harder time against the Audis which were running a new aerodynamic package here at Imola. In the end, our reliability and better fuel consumption paid off. After our result at Spa, it’s beginning to look good for our chances in the ILMC standings. My only problem was when I damaged a rim after coming together with an FLM car through the Variante Alta turn.”
