The new Audi R18 was out in Florida last week after the 12 Hours of Sebring. All nine factory drivers were on duty.

Returning to Florida 11 years after its one-two-three finish in the LMGTS class in 2000, the French Oreca team was in stunning form once again at Sebring.
Highcroft Racing’s HPD-ARX 01e and the N°56 factory BMW respectively claimed the top LMP and GT prizes in the MICHELIN GREEN X Challenge.
The Peugeot 908 HDi FAP/MICHELIN entered by Team Oreca-Matmut and shared by Lapierre/Duval/Panis took a surprise win in this weekend’s 12 Hours of Sebring, round one of the 2011 Intercontinental Le Mans Cup. Highcroft Racing’s HPD-ARX01e came second ahead of the N°8 factory Peugeot 908.
As expected, the fight for top honours in the GT class produced another memorable clash. BMW picked up an emphatic one-two finish ahead of the two factory Corvettes.

After six hours of racing, the PEUGEOT 908/MICHELIN of Montagny/Sarrazin/Lamy tops the order at the 12 Hours of Sebring. The HPD-ARX 01e of Brabham/Franchitti/Pagenaud follows in second place, ahead of Oreca’s Peugeot 908 HDi FAP (Lapierre/Duval/Panis). Both factory AUDI/MICHELINs have lost ground.
