David Brabham recently travelled to Australia to contest a round of the country’s V8 Supercars championship, and he is due to return there for another race straight after this weekend’s Petit Le Mans.

A mini V8 Supercars programme for Brabs
Between his ALMS duties with Highcroft Racing at Mosport and Petit Le Mans, the championship’s provisional leader secured 10th place at Philipp Island in the Stone Brothers Racing-run Ford Falcon.
And as soon as the flag comes down at Road Atlanta on Saturday, the Australian-born driver is scheduled to hop on a plane back to his homeland for the following weekend’s Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000. This is the highlight of the V8 Supercars calendar and visits one of the most awesome circuits to be found anywhere in the world, principally because of the 200-metre altitude difference between the highest part of the track and the start/finish straight!
David Brabham’s diary also includes late October’s Armor All Gold Coast 600 which takes in the streets of Surfers Paradise where Brabham will face competition from three other specialists of the USA racing scene: Dario Franchitti, Ryan Briscoe and Patrick Long.
